Ask Me Anything (AMA) Student Mentoring Lunch
We are delighted to introduce the ICHEC Ask Me Anything (AMA) Student Mentoring Lunch Program.
The goal of this program is to provide early-career students and researchers with broader access to resources that will help them navigate the ICHEC community and their broader career in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) domain. The primary objective is to offer opportunities for in-depth research discussions while fostering an environment where participants can connect with mentors and peers in a friendly and casual atmosphere.
Event Details
- Time: During the lunch breaks on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference (TBA)
- Format: We will match you with a preferred mentor based on your choices. You will have lunch with your mentor and 1–2 other students for an informal discussion lasting approximately one hour.

Participation in this program is by invitation only. Interested students must submit an application via the online form before the deadline.

Selection Process & Important Information
- Selection process: After the deadline, all applications will be reviewed by the Student Mentoring Program committee. Our goal is to support students who will benefit most from this opportunity, while also aiming for diversity in student backgrounds, research topics, and geographic locations.
- Seat allocation: To ensure diversity, we may limit the number of accepted students from the same institution or research advisor.
- Confidentiality: All application materials will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for review and organization of this program.
- Important note: This program is part of the ICHEC conference. All invited participants are responsible for their own conference registration, travel, and accommodation costs.
